The UK has removed eight countries from the red list of travel bans, including Pakistan, Turkey and the Maldives.

In the UK, the Pakistan High Commission, Government of Pakistan, Deputy Leader of the Opposition Muhammad Afzal Khan, Member of Parliament Naz Shah, Member of Parliament Yasmeen Qureshi, Member of Parliament Sir Tony Lloyd and other senior Pakistani and Kashmiri political leaders have played important roles.

Sir Tony Lloyd, Naz Shah, Yasmeen Qureshi, former Lord Nazir Ahmed and other senior leaders for their tireless work.

He further said that a new system for international travel is being introduced for October 4. Apart from Pakistan, the countries leaving the red list include Turkey, Egypt, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Oman, Bangladesh and Kenya.

“We know how difficult the last five months have been for so many people. After getting out of the red list, fully vaccinated people will not have to be quarantined from coming to the UK from Pakistan,” he added.

It may be recalled that those coming from the countries included in the red list of the United Kingdom have to quarantine the hotel for 10 days for which they have to pay an additional 2285 pounds (Pakistani rupees 527,000).
