Three Gulf countries have been ranked among the top 10 places in the world to accommodate foreigners or immigrants. The UAE is ranked fourth, Bahrain eighth and Qatar tenth. Switzerland has been named the best country for immigrants to live in, according to Arab News, citing HSBC’s 14th annual Expat Explorer Study. The list includes 48 countries or places in the world in which Saudi Arabia is ranked as the 39th best country for foreigners to live.
According to the report, the standard of living in the UAE is the only reason why migrants stay longer. The survey looked at issues such as people’s salaries, career advancement, job security and savings, but also asked people about social issues. The UAE is the fourth-best country for foreigners to stay
