On Pakistan Day, March 23, organized by the Pakistan Kashmiri Association, the flag was hoisted by the Mayor of Rochdale Asim Rashid at the Council Barrow Rochdale office – the flag was hoisted with the national anthem.
Mayor of Rochdale Asim Rasheed, Deputy Leader Adalat Ali, Councilor Rana Faisal, Chairman Pakistan Kashmiri Association Rochdale Aitzaz Asim, Coordinator Ghulam Rasool Shehzad while speaking on 23rd March 1940 Resolution of Pakistan 1940 Poet of the East Allama Muhammad Iqbal Rahmatullah, Founder of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah (may Allah have mercy on him) paid homage to the first Prime Minister of Pakistan Shaheed Liaquat Ali Khan and Chaudhry Rehmat Ali, the creator of the word Pakistan.
In their speeches, the speakers further said that seven years after the Pakistan Resolution, our leaders raised the flag of Pakistan’s independence on August 14, 1947, and made it a place on the world map. It is not enough to describe.
We all have to work together day and night for the development and prosperity of our country Pakistan so that Quaid’s Pakistan will be more famous in the world. A large number of men and women from political, social, business and community participated on this occasion.
