The Rochdale Football Association Club, in collaboration with the Rochdale Council of Mosques, hosted an Iftar dinner for the Rochdale community at Rochdale Football Club.

For the first time, the Rochdale Football Association, in conjunction with the Rochdale Council of Mosques, invited the entire Rochdale community to an Iftar dinner at the football club.

Religious scholar Maulana Muhammad Irfan Chishti started the ceremony with the words of the Holy Qur’an.

The Rochdale community attended the Iftar dinner in large numbers, proving that there is no division between the Rochdale community, but that the Rochdale community is the only community in the UK that is living in harmony and unity. It has sent a positive message to all communities across the globe that the development and prosperity of the world are not possible without consensus.

On the occasion, Chairman Rochdale Football Association Club (Mr Simon Gange), Health Coordinator (Miss Charlotte Griffiths), Chief Officer Council of Mosques Retired Chief Police Officer Nadeem Mir, Religious Scholar Maulana Muhammad Irfan Chishti and others graced the collective Iftar dinner.
