Dubai (Special Report)

For more than two decades, unmanned aircraft has been a well-known but mysterious identity in the Emirate of Umm al-Quwain.

But it will not last long. The Soviet-era cargo plane, which was parked near Bara Kod Badge Zizort along the E11 street in Uwe, is now being dismantled.

According to the Emirati media, the turbofan engines that used to power this magnificent aircraft are now scattered on the ground and its wings are now being broken. According to a security guard present there, the plane is being decommissioned and this process started a few days ago. He did not provide further details. It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post.

According to aircraft experts, it can take up to 10 weeks or more to break down an aircraft. In addition, the remaining fuel and engine oil must be carefully disposed of as they can be dangerous to the environment.
