A meeting was held in the Election Commission headed by the Chief Election Commissioner in which members of the Election Commission and senior officers participated.
Special Secretary Election Commission briefed on the incident of firing in PP-167 Lahore. Candidates Nazir Ahmed Chauhan and Shabbir Ahmed were summoned to the Election Commission on June 23 while CCPO Lahore also summoned the Election Commission on June 23. The District Returning Officer and the Deputy Monitoring Officer were also summoned.
A briefing was given in the meeting regarding irregularities in NA-240 Korangi Karachi. In this regard, Pak Sarzamin Party chief Mustafa Kamal has been summoned to the Election Commission on June 22.
