Leaders of the Christian community met with the High Commissioner

A delegation of Christian community leaders called on High Commissioner Moazzam Ahmad Khan. The delegation was led by Rev. Dr. Robinson Asghar – Founder and Chairman RCDM (Robinson Community Development Ministry UK and Pakistan).

The two sides jointly discussed in detail the purpose of Pakistan and ways and means to work for the development of Pakistani minorities.

Welcoming the delegation, the High Commissioner apprised them that the Government of Pakistan is aware of its role in protecting the rights of minorities in Pakistan in accordance with the Constitution of Pakistan. He appreciated the cooperation of minorities in the formation of Pakistan and its efforts and participation in its development and progress as a result.

The High Commissioner especially commended the Christian community of Pakistan for their invaluable contribution in the fields of health, education, defense and politics.
