Razia Chaudhry, a socio-political activist for the protection of women’s rights in the UK and internationally, hosted a reception in honor of Consul General Tariq Wazir at the Pakistani Consulate in Manchester.
In which Commercial Trade Secretary Muhammad Akhtar Political personalities Rana Abdul Sattar, Malik Imran Khalil, Deputy Mayor Badi Councilor Shahina Haroon, Former Mayor of Blackburn Council Raja Iftikhar Hussain, Councilors Shaukat Hussain, Councilor Pervez Akhtar Councilor Zameer Former Pakistani Cricketer Tariq Mahmood, Raja Shabbir Kakarvi, Mrs. Noshin Nadeem, Maqsood Ahmed, Zaheer Abbas Advocate, Atif Riaz, Ata Chauhan, Promoter Muhammad Amjad, Muhammad Sarwar Chishti and eminent jurist Barrister Amjad Malik also graced the occasion.
Consul General Tariq Wazir said that Razia Chaudhry gathered people from different schools of thought and met many people whom they did not know before. I discussed trade, social and other aspects individually is.
He said that the happiness of the people lies in the fact that the process of meeting should continue. Barrister Amjad Malik said that the community should benefit from the experience of Consul General Tariq Wazir. He said that women have an important role to play in the development of Pakistan.
Host Razia Chaudhry said that due to corona virus, as per government instructions, selected personalities were invited. I thank all those who attended the reception.
Deputy Mayor Badi Councilor Shahina Haroon, Rana Abdul Sattar, former Mayor Blackburn Councilor Raja Iftikhar, Malik Imran Khalil, Dr Liaqat Malik and Samina Khan said that Razia Chaudhry had locked us all together due to corona virus. After the softening of the down provided a golden opportunity.
