Accounts will be opened in the UAE with police identification.

Dubai (Bureau Report)

Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) has introduced the facility of remote and digital account opening to promote digital services in line with the UAE government’s vision.

With secure access to the Ministry of Interior’s facial recognition verification system, ADIB has become the first UAE bank to adopt a quick and highly secure verification method before opening a new account.

ADIB’s new service helps verify the identity details of the account holder using the Home Ministry’s facial recognition system. The verification process is smooth, efficient, protected from fraud and other forms of identity theft.

With this technology, UAE citizens and residents will be able to open an account with ADIB through which they will have instant access to banking services without going to the bank. Facial recognition system services are currently available to open an account on ADIB’s mobile banking app.

To open an account, you can download the ADIB mobile application and follow the instructions to open an account.
