Sardar Atiq Ahmad Khan, Leader of All Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference and former Prime Minister, has said that the issue of Kashmiris living abroad, especially the Kashmiri Diaspora of UK and Europe, has a very clear and positive role in highlighting Kashmir. Fundamental rights can be achieved in the struggle for self-determination.
He was talking to Raja Najabat Hussain, chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Tehreek-e-Haq Khudaradiyat International at Mujahid Manzil here.
Raja Najabat Hussain in a meeting with Sardar Atiq Ahmad Khan discussed in detail the latest situation in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and briefed him on the future programs of his organization.
There is a strong lobby organization and our team which includes leaders and members of all political schools of thought as well as a large number of women and youth representatives.
The fundamental right of Kashmiris to self-determination is being worked on in a highly organized manner to promote it in every international forum. “Through the efforts of our organization, we are currently supported by a large number of European and British MPs and together with us they raise their voices against the grave human rights violations and Indian atrocities in occupied Jammu and Kashmir,” he said.
Former Prime Minister Sardar Atiq Ahmad Khan, while talking, paid tribute to the efforts of Raja Najabat Hussain-led Tehreek-e-Haq Khudaradit team Kwan and said that all the organizations working on Kashmir abroad should be linked to each other. All Kashmiris fully agree on the position of the “right to self-determination”.
Sardar Atiq Ahmad Khan said that this fundamental right of Kashmiris has been recognized by the whole world in the UN forum which India has usurped on the strength of its military might. He said that the situation in occupied Jammu and Kashmir Recognizing the seriousness of the issue, the Kashmiri people want to play their decisive role in giving them their basic rights.
