The UAE has extended the stay of all residents who were stranded outside the country due to epidemics and travel closures and whose visas had expired until December 9, 2021.
They have been given this extension automatically, which includes an extra month. However, these people will have to renew their visas within 90 days of returning to the UAE.
In addition, people who have been in the UAE for 6 months or more can also return. According to the concerned authorities, ICA approval is required for repatriation and they have to confirm the visa issue from the senator’s website https://amer.gdrfad.gov.ae/visa-inquiry.
