Al-Hassan app’s new protocol released, booster dose mandatory, new residency grace period

Abu Dhabi has announced a one-month grace period for all those who have been receiving the second dose of the vaccine for 6 months or more. All of these people can now take booster doses until September 20.

According to officials, the ruling will not apply to those who have been involved in the vaccine trial. According to the new protocol issued by Abu Dhabi, only those citizens, residents and tourists who have completed vaccination will be allowed to visit public places.

The decision will take effect on August 20. Under the new protocol, the status of vaccinators will be green. Which will last for 30 days in case of the PC ornithoid test.

People under the age of 16 will be exempt from the test and will only be allowed to enter public places on the Green Estate.

Individuals who have not been vaccinated and whose status in the Al Hassan app will be grey or whose PCR test has expired will not be allowed to go to any public place.

Authorities have also announced a 60-day grace period for new residency permit holders.
