New travel instructions were issued for travellers in the UAE

Abu Dhabi has issued new travel instructions for passengers, which will be implemented from August 15.

According to the new order, vaccinated people will follow these instructions.

  1. Passengers from countries on the green list will be exempted from quarantine. They will have a PCR test at the airport while the second test will be on the sixth day.
  2. Passengers from other countries will be quarantined for 7 days, their first test at the airport and the second test on the sixth day.

These will be instructions for people without vaccinations.

  1. The first test for passengers from the Green List countries will be at the airport, the second on the sixth and the third on the ninth. These passengers will not need quarantine.
  2. Passengers from other countries will be quarantined for 10 days, their first test will be taken at the airport and the second test will be taken on the ninth day.

These guidelines will apply equally to Emirati citizens, residents and tourists.
