International Lawyers Association North West Chapter President Rana Zia Aslam and his team held a solemn oath of allegiance ceremony at Pearl Restaurant in the Odenshah area of Ashton.
Newly elected officials were sworn in by President ILA Barrister Rashid at a ceremony in which prominent British political and social figure Rana Abdul Sattar Advocate was elected President of the International Lawyers Association North of England.
Among the elected officials of North West were President Rana Zia Aslam, General Secretary Sohaib Ahmed, Senior Vice President Bilal Babar, Additional General Secretary Habat Ranjha, Joint Secretary Rana Timur Manj, Information Secretary Saeed Ahmed. European Parliament Dr Sajjad Karim Mayor Rachdale Asim Rasheed, Former Member of Parliament Faisal Rasheed Trade Commercial Secretary Chaudhry Akhtar Overseas Pakistani Foundation Board of Governors Former Chairman Barrister Amjad Malik Barrister, President of International Lawyers Association North West Rana Zia-ul-Islam District Judge Fayyaz Afzal Pirzada, Sardar Ahmad Qadri, Solicitor Maqbool Malik and others participated.
On the occasion, Special Guest Council General Tariq Wazir congratulated the elected officials and said that our cooperation will always be with them. Explaining the aims and objectives of the organization in detail, he said that we will raise our voice for human rights issues all over the world.
Barrister Amjad Malik, former chairman of the OPF Governors Body, said that he congratulated the International Lawyers Association on the formation of the North West Body. Lawyers have a huge role to play in the development of Pakistan. Congratulations to all the officials who have become role models for the younger generation. On this occasion, Dr Sajjad Karim, former Member of European Parliament, said that I congratulate Rana Abdul Sattar and the North West team and hope that IL “I am grateful to the ILA for making me president of the North of England. I will fulfil my responsibilities and include my other friends in the ILA. ILA North West President and Host Rana Zia Aslam thanked all the guests and explained the future programs of the organization. Shahid Nadeem and Chaudhry Ansar also spoke about the ILA, the stage secretary Saeed Ahmed efficiently performed his duties. In the end, shields and certificates were also given to the distinguished guests and the guests were treated to Lahore food.
