Kabul: After the seizing of Afghanistan by the Taliban, September 7 marked the recommencement of classes, but now a curtain will divide Male students from Females.
Taliban are under stringent surveillance by foreign powers on how they treat the women of Afghanistan in their new regime.
The group have reassured the international community that they have been evolved; nonetheless, as they strive for recognition, the Taliban would have to show respect for Human Rights.
“I really felt terrible when I entered the class … We are gradually going back to 20 years ago,” said a student.
In the same vein, an instruction has also been disseminated to the educational institutes to make the wearing of hijab for females necessary and erect a separate entrance for them.
Last week, the Taliban said that education will continue but men and women must be segregated.
