WHO-approved vaccinated Pakistanis return on UAE conditionally from September 12

The UAE has conditionally allowed residency holders from other countries, including Pakistan, to enter the country from September 12. The vaccine approved by the World Health Organization (WHO) is a prerequisite for UAE residency holders.

According to the Emirates Al-Youm newspaper, the Federal Authority for Residential Affairs and Emergency Situations has stated that the countries from which the arrival of passengers was banned include Pakistan, Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Zambia and Congo, Sierra Leone, Liberia, South Africa, Nigeria and Afghanistan.

The temporary ban on the entry of migrants from these countries is being lifted from 12 September 2021. The statement issued by the authority further said that the residency holders of these countries should apply for both the coronavirus vaccines approved by the World Health Organization. Doses have been applied.

Holders of these residences have been asked to submit their information on the website of the online authority before the trip to the UAE in which there is proof of vaccination. Will meet the required conditions.

Foreigners staying in the UAE must also submit a PCR test for 48 hours of travel. The PCR test should be done from an approved lab that issues QR codes. To arrive in the UAE, it is necessary to undergo ‘immediate PCR’ before boarding the plane, while on arrival in the UAE, the PCR test must be done on the fourth and eighth days.


Under the age of 16 will be exempt from the test.
