The UAE has announced six conditions for the issuance of residency for retired foreigners. The duration of residency for retired foreigners will be five years.
According to Emirates Allium, the six conditions set for the residency issued to outsourced foreigners, the most important of which is financial affordability, under which retirees are required to deposit at least 1 million dirhams or equivalent.
Must provide proof of.The financial condition further states that the applicant must pledge to transfer the deposited amount to the UAE or be used for investment – in addition to submitting a six-month bank statement.
The applicant must also provide a certificate of annual income which is one hundred and eighty thousand dirhams or its equivalent.
Retired persons must also present a certificate of professional experience which must be at least 15 years old. You will need to submit a colour photograph and a photocopy of your passport.
The National Authority further said that the retired persons who have obtained residency will also be eligible to issue residency for their families for which the application can be submitted digitally.
