Discussing mutual interest, defence cooperation and progress on C-Pac, the Army Chief said that Pakistan attaches importance to China’s role in global and regional affairs.
According to ISPR, Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa was received by the Chinese Minister of State for Home Affairs Peng Changshu.
The Army Chief said that Pakistan values China’s role in global and regional affairs and Pakistan and China are keen to enhance bilateral relations.
The Chief of Army Staff further said that the countries of the region need to work together for lasting peace. Expressing satisfaction over the progress made on the Pack, he reiterated his commitment to further enhance diplomatic cooperation with Pakistan at all levels.
