In the Kanwan Lit area of Sadar Daska police station, unknown persons cut the throat of a newborn girl and threw her in a bucket in the fields.
The newborn girl miraculously survived despite being mutilated. The passer-by informed the police of the sound of the baby girl crying, the police immediately shifted the baby girl to the civil hospital where the baby girl has been kept in the intensive care ward.
On being informed about the incident, DPO Sialkot Syed Zeeshan Raza directed the police to file a case against the unknown persons and arrest them, saying that the accused guilty of brutality will be punished.
