A newborn girl who had her throat cut in Daska is mysteriously missing. CO Health is silent. MS Allama Iqbal Hospital postponed the matter until morning. The plaintiff started pleading with the doctors in the hospital.
A few days ago, a newborn girl was found in Daska whose throat was cut. The girl was brought to Allama Iqbal Hospital at the request of a person named Tanveer, and the case was registered in Tanveer’s complaint.
Tanveer, a resident of Daska, came to Allama Iqbal Hospital to inquire about the girl’s well-being and it was revealed that the girl was missing from the hospital. On Tanveer’s mystery, the doctor said that she has been referred to Lahore Children’s Hospital, however, the doctors refused to give the referral number and also disappeared the girl’s file.
The plaintiff’s case is not being told about the staff accompanying the ambulance on behalf of the doctors. When contacted, CO Health Afzal Bhali said that the two hospitals are not under their jurisdiction.
On the other hand, Dr Azam Ibrahim of MS Allama Iqbal Hospital said that he will look into the matter tomorrow. The mysterious silence of the doctors about the newborn girl is momentary. Deputy Commissioner Sialkot should conduct an immediate inquiry on this matter and bring out the facts.
