it was on 27th October 1947 when Indian troops invaded Jammu & Kashmir and occupied our country in total violation of international law. London report Arif Chodhry

Jawaid Iqbal overseas advisor to Prime Minister of Azad Jammu & Kashmir Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan said “Indian regimes forces occupied our country since 27th October 1947 by illegal means giving rise to a situation where people begin killed, houses burned, maimed, torture, raped on daily basis terming 27th October 1947 as a black day in the history of South East Asia, Indian regime occupying forces had bought miseries to millions of people in Kashmir because India regimes expansion unethical agenda in the entire region”.

Kashmiris on both sides of the Line of control and around the world will observe 27th October as a black day to remind the world that we Kashmiris will continue with our democratic struggle to gain freedom and expose the fascist regime of the Modis government in India.

Free world leaders must not be blackmailed by India. Articles 370 and 34A were revoked by India against the wishes of Kashmiris, This injustice can only be settled by a free, fair transparent plebiscite under the supervision of the United Nations in Jammu & Kashmir.

World leaders need to reject the Hindutva RSS ideology which seeks to establish the domination of Hinduism in India and the region. Alarm and concern are widespread among India’s minorities, particularly in the Muslim minority which has been demonised since the Modis regime came into power. We Kashmiris want occupying forces to leave our country. Kashmiris can’t continue to live in open prisons and permanent lockdown conditions any longer. world leaders must think about our freedom and human rights not just about their economic ties with the Indian regime.
