Wasim Khan, chief executive officer of the Pakistan Cricket Board, has said that the Kashmir Premier League is a league of great importance. This will highlight the Kashmir issue and provide all possible support to the Pakistan Cricket Board League. Pakistan Cricket Board Chief Executive Officer Wasim Khan while talking to media said that Kashmir Premier League is of great importance. He said that holding of KPL would help in highlighting the issue of Kashmir. He said that Kashmir would support the Premier League in every possible way and Pakistan Cricket Board would fulfill all the requirements of PL to make the league a success.
The Kashmir Premier League will start on May 16 and will continue till May 27. Kashmir Premier League matches will be played at Muzaffarabad Cricket Stadium, the capital of Azad Kashmir. A total of 6 teams are participating in the league. Participating teams include Muzaffarabad Tigers, Mirpur Royals, Rawalkot Hawks, Kotli Panthers, Bagh Stallions and Overseas Warriors
