Four FC youths were martyred and six others injured in a terrorist attack from Afghanistan in Zhob area of Balochistan.
According to ISPR, FC youths were engaged in erecting a fence on the Pak-Afghan border in Manzakai Sector Zhob when they came under fire from across the border. The martyrs include Hawaldar Noor Zaman, Cop Shakeel Abbas, Cop Ihsanullah and Naik Sultan. The injured were shifted to CMH Quetta where they are undergoing treatment. The ISPR said that the terrorists were repulsed by the FC.
Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has said that he condemns the terrorist incident in Balochistan. The incident of firing on FC personnel is unfortunate.
