The Pakistani Consulate in Dubai has launched a mobile application to provide consular services to Pakistanis residing there.
Consul General of Pakistan Ahmed Amjad Ali inaugurated the mobile application. Through the newly launched application, Pakistanis residing in the UAE have been given access to all consular and welfare services including document verification, visa applications, passport and identity cards, transfer of bodies, legal counselling and others.
Speaking at the launch of the app, Pakistani Consul General Ahmed Amjad Ali said, “The ease of use of the mobile application has been taken into account while designing it. Now you can take time through the app for the Pakistani consular service here, you can also know about the necessary documents and fees etc.
According to the Consul General, there are many Pakistanis residing in other parts of the UAE, through which they will be able to avail themselves facilities at their place of residence. The mobile application will also be able to verify UAE job letters and UAE visas for Pakistanis.
Information on land disputes in Pakistan, family issues and other government agencies will also be available through the app. According to the Pakistani Consulate, a link to the mobile application is available on the official website from where it can be downloaded.
