The UAE has revised its travel regulations and removed the requirement of the Corona Vaccination Certificate for citizens of six countries, including Pakistanis holding residency visas.
Citizens of Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Nigeria and Uganda do not need a Corona Vaccination Certificate to enter the UAE, according to a statement issued by Emirates Airlines on Tuesday.
According to a new travel guideline published on the Emirates website, all travellers with a UAE resident visa can travel under certain conditions.
Dubai visa holders must apply for a “re-entry permit” through the Directorate of Residency and Foreign Affairs (GDRFA).
Passengers must have a Corona Test Certificate obtained 48 hours before departure.
Only Code 19 PCR test reports obtained from laboratories that provide QR codes along with the original report will be accepted.
Passengers must have a code 19 PCR rapid test taken four hours before departure. Rapid antigen testing will not be acceptable.
Passengers will have to undergo Code 19 PCR test on arrival in Dubai. The advisory said that UAE nationals will be exempted from the first three conditions, but they will have to undergo a PCR test on arrival in Dubai.
It added that all travellers who have recently travelled to India, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Uganda, except UAE nationals, will be banned.
