Dubai (Special Report)
All ministries and agencies in the UAE have been instructed to issue a written directive requiring employees who do not get the corona vaccine to undergo a PCR test every 48 hours.
According to Emirates Al-Youm, the Department of Manpower said in a statement that the Code 19 epidemic response strategy has been amended and will be implemented from August 29.
The new ban would also exempt all employees who submit a medical certificate or report approved by a government health institution in the UAE stating that the health of the person concerned does not allow vaccination.
The statement said outsourced companies or public service companies contracted by federal government agencies will conduct mandatory PCR tests every 48 hours for their employees who work in government offices on a full-time basis. Yes, the cost of this test has to be paid for by the concerned company.
This decision will also exempt employees of private companies and companies who have received both doses of the vaccine.
