Secretary Hajj and Umrah Hisham Saeed have said that during Muharram 1443 AH (last month) 6,000 Umrah visas were issued for the pilgrims coming from abroad.
Talking to Al-Arabiya Channel’s special program ‘Nashrat Al-Raba’ah’, the Secretary of Hajj and Umrah added, Hisham Saeed, said that a large number of Umrah pilgrims would be welcomed during the Umrah seasons in Rabi-ul-Awal, Rajab and Ramadan.
Preparations are being made in this regard. A model of the ‘Safe Umrah’ program is being presented for those coming from abroad.
Secretary Hajj and Umrah pointed out that the purpose of the ‘Safe Umrah Program’ offered by the Umrah Company is to provide all facilities to the pilgrims during their stay in the country.
Secretary Hajj and Umrah said that licensed hotels are banned from banning Corona SOPs from Umrah pilgrims. In this regard, hotels have been informed about SOPs.
Hotels and buses have been urged to adopt a safe transportation system.
