{"id":15607,"date":"2022-07-17T03:11:37","date_gmt":"2022-07-17T03:11:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/undergroundnews.co.uk\/?p=15607"},"modified":"2022-07-17T03:11:39","modified_gmt":"2022-07-17T03:11:39","slug":"imran-khan-terms-u-turns-crucial-for-political-leaders-generals","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/undergroundnews.co.uk\/?p=15607&lang=en","title":{"rendered":"Imran Khan terms &#8216;U-turns&#8217; crucial for political leaders, generals"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Mishaal Arshad C.M Underground News<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Imran Khan says mistakes happen, and if you know that you have made a mistake, take a step back<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>&#8220;Increasing distances between the army and the nation will be a loss for Pakistan and its armed force,&#8221; says Khan.<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>PTI leader reiterates that his struggle is to get rid of Sharif and Zardari families.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity is-cnvs-separator-id-1658027281753\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">ISLAMABAD: PTI Chairman Imran Khan on Saturday termed &#8220;U-turns&#8221; crucial for political leaders and generals and insisted the country could not afford a &#8220;weak&#8221; army.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Addressing a seminar in the federal capital, the former prime minister said mistakes happen, and one should take a step back to reconsider that they have made a mistake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ex-premier said the country could not afford a &#8220;weak army&#8221; as it is the nation&#8217;s asset.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Increasing distances between the army and the nation would be a loss for Pakistan and its armed force both,&#8221; said Khan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The PTI leader reiterated that his struggle was to get rid of the Sharif and Zardari families from the political front &#8220;who have been taking turns to rule the country for the past 30 years.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Pakistan has been ruled half the time by these two families and half the time by the dictators,&#8221; said Khan, claiming that all the dictators in the past weakened the country&#8217;s institutions and put fear above the law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The former PM said freedom of expression was crucial for any nation, and no society can thrive without it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Khan asserted the media was never a threat to him, nor he took any action against it during his tenure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;I have never done anything wrong and never stole anything from the nation.
