In April 2018, under then-Prime Minister Theresa May, Sajid Javed was appointed to the post following the resignation of then-Home Secretary Amber Rudd, he held the post until Boris Johnson was elected Prime Minister.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following the resignation of British Health Secretary Matt Hancock, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has chosen Sajid Javed for the post.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After Boris Johnson became the Prime Minister in July 2019, Sajid Javed was made the Finance Minister but he held the post for only six months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was reported that Sajid Javed had resigned due to differences with Dominic Cummings, then Chief Adviser to the Prime Minister.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In April 2018, under then-Prime Minister Theresa May, Sajid Javed was appointed to the post following the resignation of then-Home Secretary Amber Rudd, a position he held until Boris Johnson was elected Prime Minister.<br>After becoming Home Secretary, Sajid Javed told the Sunday Telegraph: &#8220;It has affected me.
